The longer you wait the harder it will be to clean the wax stain.

Cut the paper bag or paper towel to the size of the spill.

Change to a clean paper and repeat until you don t get any more up.
Allow the wax to freeze for about 10 minutes making sure that the wax isn t getting wet from your ice pack.
Continue ironing until all of the wax is soaked up and clean the area with a carpet solvent.
Using a warm iron slowly press the iron on top of the paper bag or cloth.

Keep your towel or bag in a manageable size because you will be moving it around a bit.
Dampen a white cotton towel fold it in half and place it over the wax.
