Cut the paper bag or paper towel to the size of the spill. Place more ice cubes on the spot to harden remaining wax and pry it up with the knife. Run a warm iron over the paper or cloth to heat the wax. Whichever method you choose will depend on your preference and what items you have to hand.

Allow the wax to freeze for about 10 minutes making sure that the wax isn t getting wet from your ice pack. Continue ironing until all of the wax is soaked up and clean the area with a carpet solvent.
