Cleaning Granite Soap Stains

If you have a light water stain that is caused by condensation you can often remove it using a mixture of mild dish soap warm water and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Most of the time stained granite countertops can be cleaned with household items so common that you probably already have them in your pantry. To saturate the mold or mildew pour a small amount of the hydrogen peroxide water onto the stained area. Rub the moistened cloth over the soap stains on the granite. To remove a soap stain from granite try soaking a sponge with water don t wring out and leave the wet sponge on the soap stain until the water evaporates.

If you clean your granite surface with dish soap and water or any type of soap for that matter it may leave behind a dull film or scum. No matter the source of the stain start with baking.
