Do this for all your flooring occasionally to clear away any grime build up. You may need to use a flat straight edge such as a plastic scraper or old credit card to lift the adhesive from the vinyl. Chip the bulk of the super glue off of the vinyl using a razor. If there is a lot of glue then you may wish to push the glue towards a plastic card and lift it away before rubbing the flooring with the cloth.

Spray down a laminate flooring cleaner and then wipe it away with a microfiber or terrycloth mop pad. Instead it must be cleaned while slightly damp but not soaking. Wipe over the surface of the vinyl where the glue is. Put your stripping solution into a squirt water bottle then spray a bit on the glue you want to remove.

What they do recommend is a wire brush and soapy water. Use a fine grit sandpaper to sand off the dried glue. The solution can be floor stripper or acetone based nail polish remover. Both of these products can be found at home improvement or hardware stores.

Acetone chemicals help loosen the glue. Scrub gently if required so that the finish does not become damaged. Remove the acetone based solvent from your floor promptly. Use a dry rag or cloth to gradually loosen the residue.

Take off only the top layer of super glue. Protect your hands by wearing rubber or latex gloves. Wipe up any residual dry vct adhesive from the floor or surface with a clean white cloth dampened with mineral spirits or a commercial adhesive remover. Amazing results very safe.

Use the liquid sparingly. Do not try to dig underneath the glue because this will damage the vinyl. Chemicals can remove the print from your floor and soften its. Abrasive cleaning agents or abrasive pads will scratch your vinyl finish.

Other homeowners have even used mineral spirits to assist in cleanup. The cloth should be slightly moist and not dripping. Before the flooring experts jump all over me or slam my comments i have to share that they don t typically recommend using a harsh chemical like acetone to clean the floor with. Laminate flooring isn t the type of product that you can wet mops like vinyl or tile.

Begin by applying the cleaner either to the cloth or directly to the vinyl bench. Wipe the area thoroughly to remove the sticky residue. Simply take a piece of dry cloth or a new sponge and make it slightly damp.
